The Hargila stork is an unusual bird with a bit of a bad reputation in India.
Purnima Devi Barman has just been awarded the Whitley Fund for Nature's Gold Award for saving this distinctive species, which was at risk of dying out.
"To me, Hargila is the most beautiful, most charismatic bird in the world," she says.
