Suspected kidnappers on Friday attempted to abduct the Chairman of Gassol Local Government Area of Taraba State, Abubakar Saidu, in his house located at GRA, Jalingo, the state capital.
Saidu told newsmen in Jalingo that eight assailants arrived at his residence at 2am in the early hours of Friday, armed with weapons.
