Ex-Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has stated that Mohamed Salah should no longer be an automatic starter for Liverpool, noting that the forward’s recent form warrants a rethink from manager Arne Slot.
Salah was one of Liverpool’s poorest performers in their 2-1 loss to Manchester United on Sunday, missing two clear chances and extending his run to seven Premier League games without a goal from open play, which is his longest drought since arriving at Anfield.
