The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has disclosed that a blind candidate hired a fellow blind man as an impersonator to sit the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination on his behalf.

According to the Registrar of the Joint Admission Matriculation Board, JAMB, Prof Ishaq Oloyede, the blind impersonator is an undergraduate. Oloyede who spoke at a press briefing on Friday, said the board remained committed to providing the necessary support for persons with disabilities aspiring to pursue tertiary education.
