As the Nigerian government continues to throw various solutions at the food crisis in the country occasioned by its twin policies of petrol subsidy removal and floating of the naira, there are indications that its interventions may yield little harvest. This is even as the government is on the verge of releasing 42,000 metric tonnes of assorted food commodities to support the vulnerable population across the country.
