The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has stated that it has sought a stay of execution on a landmark ruling that nullified its minimum age policy around tertiary school admissions. According to a report by TheCable on Friday, JAMB’s Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, Fabian Benjamin, said the board has filed an appeal against the High Court ruling, maintaining that JAMB has requested a stay of execution, meaning the 16-year minimum still stands until the higher courts say otherwise.
