The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) remains silent on allegations of insider threats and collusion in the ongoing vandalization of the country's electricity transmission network, which has incurred a staggering N12.8 billion in repair costs over the past two years. According to estimates by The Guardian, a total of 117 132kv/330kv electricity towers have been vandalized nationwide between January 2022 and February 2024.
