Is it a sin to lie to save a life?
Did Jesus lie to His brothers in John 7:8-10?
This passage is often used by Skeptics to say that Jesus lied to His brothers.
In old Testament there are many Saint people telling lies to save themselves or others.
To lie to save a life would be the same as killing yourself. For Christ said "any one who loves his mother, father sister, brother or even their life, more than him would lose it.

please, You are misinterpreting those portion of the scripture by saying that Jesus lied.
firstly, I will suggest you read it again.
Jesus never said He's not going to attend the festival. He said...KJV:Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up YET unto this feast: for my TIME is not yet full come.
pls take note of those words in capital letters.
In other words He is saying I will go but not now.
