Building by Griffin’s Reach – The Risky Reward Route

During my second playthrough, I decided to try a more ambitious start by setting up base near Griffin’s Reach Trading Post. It’s no secret this is one of the most sought-after locations in the early game—and for good reason Dune Awakening Solari.

Griffin’s Reach is the first major NPC hub you’ll find in Hagga Basin, and it acts as a gateway to quest lines, trade routes, and quick upgrades. I noticed early on that veteran players rushed to claim land here, which made it difficult to secure a spot. The terrain doesn’t help either—a lot of it is blocked by cliffs or unstable sand, meaning the viable building zones are limited and hotly contested.

Still, I managed to claim a piece of real estate just north of the hub, and the payoff was worth the grind. I had instant access to several early-game quests, which helped me level up faster than I did in my Aren’s Refuge run. The trading post also meant I could trade extra mats for rare components or food when I was running low.

However, there are drawbacks. The constant PvP presence here can be intense. I had my base raided more than once, especially during peak hours. It made me realize that while the rewards are high, so are the risks. You need to fortify your base heavily if you're setting up shop here. Walls, auto-turrets, and keeping your valuables hidden are non-negotiables Dune Awakening Items.

So if you're confident in your combat and want to level up fast, Griffin’s Reach is the place to be. Just be ready to defend what you build.
