Weapon camos have been flying left and right since the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, and the upcoming Season 1 update will deliver even more camos. However, there's one camo that you can't earn by completing a challenge, getting headshots, or doing anything in-game. Instead, the new Veiled Aurora camo can only be earned in BO7 by verifying your email on the Call of Duty website.

The intention behind Activision's new initiative to verify your email and Call of Duty account is to prevent cheating and account sharing. While there has been email verification in the past, the system is seemingly being reworked with the launch of Season 1 in Black Ops 7.

Starting on Dec. 4, which is when Season 1 goes live, you'll be able to go to your Call of Duty account and verify the email that's associated with the account. Here are the steps you can follow to verify your email:

    When Season 1 goes live on Dec. 4, click this link to be taken to your Call of Duty account's email verification page
    If you attempt to visit that link before Season 1 is live, you'll be given an error message
    When you're on the verify page, go through the steps of verifying your email. This involves being sent an email from Activision that you need to click on while signed into your email account
    You need to have access to the email account on file with your Activision account for this to work
    After clicking on the email, click on the link inside to successfully verify your email 

Once all of that's done, you can move on to claiming the Veiled Aurora camo and Double XP Tokens in BO7.

Now that your email is verified, all you have to do is log in to Black Ops 7 while using the same Call of Duty account that you just verified the email for. Once you do that, you'll see a notification that says "items have been added to your inventory." These items consist of the following rewards:

    1 Hour 2XP Level Tokens (x5)
    1 Hour 2XP Weapon Tokens (x5)
    1 Hour 2XP Battle Pass Tokens (x5)
    Veiled Aurora Weapon Ca
